MH370 wreckage and black box

According to media report, an Australian ship has been put to sea to locate the black box from flight MH370 in the treacherous southern Indian Ocean. What we need is the location of the wreckage of the aircraft.

Good management of water supply

It rains on two afternoons consecutively in the Klang Valley. We  hope that the catchment areas get the water and that rationing ends. We need a better management of water, reducing non-revenue water,  theft and misuse. Desert people look at the ways we use water differently.

Review the situation of tolled highways

The Malaysian Government has signed contracts with highway concessionaires, allowing them to increase toll rate. If not, the Government must pay compensation. From 2008 to 2012, the Government paid 15 highway concessionaires RM 709.07 million. For 2013, the compensation is estimated to be RM 343.7 million. We must review the situation of the tolled highways.

The true situation of solid waste facility in Taman Beringin Kepong?

Tonight, the Local Government Minister Datuk Abdul Rahman tells the House that a reputable international company will be appointed through open tender to build the solid waste disposal facility in Taman Beringin, Kepong. The cost is not known.
     A detailed environmental impact assessment (DEIA) will be done based on world standard.  The environment will be protected.
     The solid waste facility will have proven technology, environmental friendly and value for money. Only time will tell what the true situation will be.

MH370 ended in Southern Indian Ocean

Tonight, the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Nasib stated at 10 that the MAS aircraft MH370 ended in the  Southern Indian Ocean. Relatives of the passengers of the airliner were told half an hour before Najib's statement.

More transparent information on MH370.

On the 8th day of the search for MAS aircraft MH370, the Prime Minister Datuk Seri Nasib says that someone deliberately stopped the plane's communication equipment and diverted it's course. The international search is concentrating on two corridors,  North and South of the Indian Ocean. We wait for more transparent information on MH 370.

True information and disappearance of MH370

On 9 March, 2014, MAS MH Boeing B777-200, took off from KLIA for Beijing, carrying 239 passengers. It disappeared from radar.
     After six days of searching for MH 300, media reports that 12 nations use 42 aircrafts and 39 ships trying to find the airliner and involving tens of thousands of square kilometres.
     We require true information on the disappearance of MH370.

Effective monitor of childcare centres

There are changes in the information age. Many more women than men have university degrees. More women go out to work. They need babysitters.
     In 2013, 2910 centres registered as providing the service. Others have not registered. How do we make sure that they give good service? Are the children safe?
     The Government sets up some childcare centres. Will all goverment departments and schools be providing such a service?
     Working parents hope that the Government monitor the centres closely.

Do not divide FRIM into two

Forest Research Institute (FRIM) in Kepong has over 550 hectares of forest. According its Director-General Datuk Abdul Latif, a group proposes building a highway that will divide FRIM into two. We protest strongly against such a proposal. Furthermore, the adjacent catchment area, Bukit Tagar, must be effectively protected.
