False RM10 Notes

This morning Bank Negara Currency Department started to respond to

telephone calls at about 11 am. An officer began to take notice of a

Sin Chew Chinese Daily report of false new RM10 and RM100 notes. The

false notes show uneven colour and rougher paper. There is no water

mark.

Bank Negara must explain how it deals with fake currencies.
