The Attorney-General & AES notices

Traffic accidents are frequent in Malaysia. Every year over 6,000 persons died on the roads. All concerned must try their utmost to reduce accidents. Recently, the Transport Ministry implements the Automatic Enforcement System (AES). This is controversial.

The Attorney-General's Chamber has decided that AES offenders are not prosecuted. Motorists continue to receive AES notices. Hence, the Attorney-General must clarify the matter in the interest of the public.
