International schools have high standard, benefiting the country?

Deputy Education Minister Datuk Yap tells the House that there are 125 international shools in Malaysia. 21 of them are being built. We must make sure that they have high standard and they are good for the country.

This is wrong. The rich and the well healed know how to educate their children and they do not need the help of the state. We must worry how the other 50% are educated because the nation will have to depend on them to turn the small screws of administration. We do not want they to apply the their small screws to jam the system.
