Fipronil in eggs

Egg scandal in Europe affects over 15 countries such as the big producer, the Netherland. Tainted eggs contain fipronil that may damage kidney, liver and thyroid glands. It was used to kill lice and ticks on chicken. Are eggs in Malaysia safe?
