Preventive measures against traffic accidents

According to Transport Minister Datuk Seri Kong Cho Ha, last year there were 6,877 deaths due to traffic accidents; 60% were motorcyclists. Owing to medical expenses and damages, the Government lost RM9 billion. Besides all people trying their best, over 30 tolled highway concessionaires with annual revenues of over RM 12 bilion must improve their preventive measures such as clearer warning signs.
