UN Arms Trade Treaty

The United Nations, UN, has failed to reach an agreement on the arms-trade treaty. The arms industry is worth over USD 60 billion a year. Malaysia has purchased two Scorpene submarines from France; Pakistan is said to have bought 12. It is difficult for UN to regulate the arms trade.
