Solid waste (rubbish) saga

The solid waste (rubbish) saga in Malaysia includes four small incinerators as found in Pulau Langkawi, Pangkor, Tioman and Cameron Highlands which were late for over two years, up to 966 days. The incinerator project in Labuan has ended in the Tribunal; the site is overgrown with trees and shrubs. The Government has spent nearly RM200 million. Negotiated tender, technology and management are questionable. Meanwhile, the solid waste saga continues.
