Reason why Chinese don't want to become civil servants

Public Service Commission Chairman Tan Sri Mahmood Adam is quoted to have said that he does not know the reason why Chinese do not want to become civil servants. In China, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Singapore, the question does not arise. Tan Sri will be able to find out the true reasons. Under a fair and just system, there are Chinese who like to be civil servants, soldiers and policemen.
