Is cooking oil in short supply?

Recently, it is reported that cooking oil is in short supply in the market, especially the 5-kilogramme packs. Every year, the Central Government gives about RM1.6 billion for cooking oil subsidy. It should investigate the situation concerning manufacturers and the market, so that an effective and fair action is taken to ensure adequate supply.
