2015 budget: Projects worth RM117. 95 biilion? Open tender

In 2015, there are nine major projects worth RM117.9 billion to accelerate public and private investment. For example, Mass Rapid Transit 2 ( MRT 2) is estimated to cost RM23 billion, Light Rail Transit 3 (LRT3) RM9 billion and a Sustainable Mobility Fund of RM70 million to develop the electric vehicle manufacturing industry.
     Investment and entrepreneurship are important to make Malaysia to be high income advanced economy. The Government talks about open tender. We insist that these tenders must be truly open to appoint good contractors and to avoid wanton waste.
