National debt RM685.1 billion

Malaysian national debt is RM685.1 billion or 52.3% Gross Domestic Product (GDP). It must not be over 55%. The total amount of government bonds held by non-residents such as Middle East,  Europe and United States is 25.7%. This is of concern.

The Welfare Minister has told the House that in domestic violence cases 74% of the victims are women and 26% are men. The Domestic Violence (Amendment) Bill is meant to protect men and women.
