Foreign workers: ? Complicity

Foreign workers come to Malaysia for decades. Complicity? Now Minister Datuk Seri Hasan wants to amend the Company Act 1962 and Datuk Bandar Datuk Seri Phesal intends to clean up the places where foreign workers congregate. Determination?

Calligraphy

  The calligraphy shows a teacher must have respect and dignity-- a quotation from Xun zi, Chinese philosopher 2300 years ago. He believes that a person is born bad and must be taught manners and punished for doing wrong. Confucius (Kong zi, about 2500 years ago) believes that a person is born good.

German Nazis destroyed 1.1 million persons at Auschwitz-Berkenau, Poland,  from 1940 to 1945. The Soviet Red Army liberated the camp on 27 January, 1945. Hatred, xenophobia and cruelty. The world was silent.

International Holocaust Remembrance Day-70th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Berkenau.

The German Nazis opened the Auschwitz-Berkenau, Poland, concentration camp (15 square miles) in 1940. They killed at least 1.1 million people, mostly Jews, due to xenophobia, antisemitism and hatred.
On 27 January,1945, the Soviet army liberated the camp.
Today, about 300 former prisoners take part in the events.

Possibly,over 30% of mankind suffer from cancer. Some are benign and others malignant. For example, children may have leukaemia, men prostate cancer and women cervical cancer. Cancer can be prevented and treated such as by stopping smoking and regular medical check-ups. Many overcome the disease.

MH17 disaster: truth? Action?

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib says that his counterpart from the Netherlands Mark Rutte has told him that before the investigation report is announced (?midfle of this year) he will let Najib know the result and the conclusion.
     We would like to know the truth and the action to be taken.

Automatic Gates in Taman Kepong (Jalan 36-39).

Residents of Taman Kepong had a dialogue with Kepong Police.They have autogates and security check points.
     Under the constitution, the police are responsible for security. Security company comes under the Private Agency Act 1972, whereas security body such as Rela is under the Society Act 1966. The Home Office sets the conditions.
     The police have agreed to help in the security.

In the name of GST, prices of goods shoot up just like black market. Domestic Trade Minister Datuk Seri Hasan launches Operation Catut. We hope that all enforcement officers are clean, fair and efficient.

Although Datuk Seri Najib expects inflation rate to be 2.5%-3.5% even after implementing GST, consumers face price hike in urban and rural areas. We hope that the Government check prices of goods extensively, so that inflation rate reflects the true situation.

Misfortunes rained heavily upon Malaysia

The last year has seen bad luck: MH370, MH17,QZ8501 and the the meltdown of the price of crude oil, falling from US$100 to below US50 a barrel. The 2015 budget is based on US$100 per barrel. We are waiting for Datuk Seri Najib to review the budget.

GST (goods and services tax). Operation Catut. Officers must be clean.

The introduction of GST gives rise to various problems such as the extortionate increase in price of goods. There is a black market mentality. Minister Datuk Seri Hasan uses Operation Catut ( against black marketeers) to keep the price down. All enforcement officers must be clean, reasonable and fair.

As he had E coli infection, Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib says he is also a victim of flood. With such a feeling, all projects such as register of victims, aids, health, housing and mitigation must be effective.

The Greater KL Sewerage Project: the management must be world-class.

National Key Economic Area (NKEA) has many projects such as the Greater KL Sewerage Project.
This project aims to raise the sewerage system in the Klang Valley like Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya to world standard.
     For example, over 50 houses along Jalan 36, Taman Kepong, are affected by the project. The management of people affected must be of world standard.

Eleven days after crashing into the Java Sea, the tail of the jetliner is shown in pictures. We hope that the black boxes can be found. The priority is to retrieve all bodies. Why did the aircraft go down?
