The World Bank studies various national broadband plans such as the National Broadband Initiative 2010 and now National Fiberisation and Connectivity Plan 2019, costing RM21.6 billion in the next five years.
     Let us hope that the quality of internet (digital) service will attain world standard.

G7 group of industrialised nations wants to help Brazil stop the Amazon disaster of forest fires with small sums such as an initial offer of US$20 million.
     Although wildfires in Indonesia and Malaysia are small compared with those in the Amazon, haze still appears.

Yesterday, British Prime Minister, Johnson, met German Chancellor, Merkel. Chancellor has told Johnson to prepare concrete proposals for Brexit in 30 days. Before this, the previous Prime Minister, Theresa May, took threes years to work out a Brexit agreement that was rejected by the British Parliament.

Lif sudden stoppage

In the men's double finals, Thailand Badminton Open, the young pair from India, Ranki and Shetti, overcame China's world no 2, Li and Liu. The young pair played well, taking no notice of the ranking of the opponent. The Chinese pair was not at its best. Anything can happen in sports.
