Dewan Rakyat Speaker, PAC and 1MDB

After Datuk NurJazlan becomes a deputy minister, Dewan Rakyat Speaker rules that the PAC proceedings are stopped (for nearly 3 months) until after the chairman's post is filled. PAC has scheduled hearings for CEO and President of 1MDB on August 4,5and 6. The remaining nine PAC members are capable of asking them relevant questions to get to the truth. Malaysians want PAC to continue the work.

The US issues Trafficking in Persons Report

The US issues Trafficking in Persons Report, dividing countries into three tiers. Tier 1 nations truly try to fight the crime. Tier 2 nations are 'moderate' and Tier 3 ones are not up to minimum standard. Every year, there is trafficking of thousands of children in the US. This year, Cuba ang Malaysia have gone up from Tier 3 to 2. Geopolitical or trade factor? Malaysia must overcome the crime.

Train ticket rate hike

Prasarana Malaysia Berhad runs the LRT. It asks SPAD to for the increase in train ticket price to cover the rising cost. The rise in the prices of goods and services affects all people. SPAD must consider the effects of train fare hike on the society.

Mitsubishi apology for World WAR II Crimes

On 15 August, 2015, World War II ended as Japan surrendered. There were war atrocities. In 2008 and 2010, Japanese Government apologized. But, China and South Korea have doubts. On 19 July, 2015, Mitsubishi apologized in Los Angeles to making prisoners of wars from various countries slave labourers over 70 years ago. Tragic memories linger.

Mass Rapid Transit (MRT)2

About 70% MRT1 project is completed. There have been accidents and deaths. MRT2 project will begin at the beginning of 2016. Besides treating those affected by the project fairly and teducing traffic jams,  the contractor must prevent accidents and ensure safety.

The National Audit Department's interim report on 1MDB concentrates on PetroSaudi and some persons. Public Accounts Committee PAC has asked them to appear such as CEO of 1MDB and advisor to Terengganu Investment Authority TIA that becomes 1MDB.
