2019 World Table Tennis Championships, men's singles finals: Ma Long 4:1 M Falck. This is the first time a Swede qualifies for the finals. Ma Long from China has become the world champion three times consecutively. He is the 'dictator' in table tennis.

Men's singles final, Singapore Badminton Open

In the Men's Singles Final, Singapore Badminton Open, Genting, Indonesia, and Momota, Japan, showed their skills. Momota took the punishment from Genting for about one hour. When Genting was tired in the third game, Momota pounced and won. In their previous match, Genting overcame Momota.

Global economy slows

The United Nations' World Economic Situation Prospects expects global economic growth to remain at 3% in 2019 and 2020. But, there are risks such as China-US and EU-US trade wars, social and environmental changes.
     Malaysia's economic growth was 4.7% in 2018. World Bank forecasts 2019 and 2020 growth  to be 4.6%.
     Malaysians are worried about the risks and the charges.

Julian Assange, the founder of Wikileaks hacked and leaked thousands of data such as US invasion of Iraq. He sought asylum at the Ecuador Embassy, London, for seven years. Then, President Moreno of Ecuador let UK detained him. The US wants him extradited. Sweden reopens rape inquiry on him.

M87 black hole
     More than 200 scientists in the world have made it possible to record images of M87 black hole that is 500 million trillion kilometres away. The black hole is a region of spacetime with very strong gravitational effects, sucking in stars and light that cannot escape. It is 40 billion km across, 3 million times the size of the earth with the mass 6.5 billion times that of the sun.

Constitution amendment on Sabah and Sarawak

Yesterday, Dewan Rakyat did not pass 2019 Federal Constitution amendment to restore the original status of Sabah and Sarawak as enshrined in the 1963 Malaysia Agreement.  138 members
  voted for and 59 abstained. Two-third majority means  148 votes.
