KL-Singapore High-Speed Rail(HSR)

The 350-kilometre high-speed rail (HSR) project between Kuala Lumpur and Singapore will cost over RM50 billion. MyHSR Corporation and Singapore Land Transport Authority say that tender for the project will be open and fair.  It must be shown to be truly transparent and accountable.

ICAC, Hong Kong.

Former Chief Executive of Hong Kong Donald Tsang was found guilty of misconduct for personal gain in public office. The Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) has charged him and he appears in the trial. Malaysia's Anti-Corruption Commission is based on ICAC.


Women can drive

From June, 2018, women will be allowed to drive cars in Saudi Arabia. Hundreds of thousands of foreign drivers (? 800,000)carry women in that country.

Sea turtle in Rantau Abang

After seven years, a sea turtle came back to Rantau Abang, Terengganu. Its 92 eggs are incubated. Lets hope that more turtles will return.

On August 25, 2017, militants attacked dozens of police post and an army base. Myanmar army retaliated. Over one hundred thousand of people have fled the Rakhine state to Bangladesh.  The United Nations must do more.


About 5000 medical graduates year

Malaysia has 32 medical schools and she has recognized 357 medical schools in 34 countries. Each year there will be about 5000 graduates. Our hospitals cannot take them all? Has the Government considered reducing student intake?
